”Before” is a very personal story driven album by film nerd turned music producer, Marcus Aburelius. It combines playful distortions of club music tropes with a highly visual approach to sound design, as the vehicles for conjuring up a diary like emotional arc bathed in the fuzzy, feel-good, romantic glow of Richard Linklater's Before series and guided by clear screenwritting story structure inspired techniques.
